Fleer
All Moog apps for iOS are free. And they work on your Mac in Big Sur. Get them while they"re hot.

Fleer
Interesting article here on how to use it on a Mac: https://cdm.link/2021/01/moogs-model-15-modular-now-runs-on-macos-big-sur-ipad-iphone-and-m1-macs/
Stokely
oi, I think I already have them! Maybe I missed one The ones I have sound incredible, though I find model 15 clunky to use with the patch cables.
Fleer
That"s why using them on a Mac should really work well.
Marzzz
And they work on your Mac in Big Sur.It seems only the Moog 15 will work on Mac OS, but that is more than enough for me!
AWkeys
Wow, thank you for the heads up!
MusicaL
Model 15 seems to work OK in standalone mode. However, I'm getting some serious clicks and pops (and other unpleasant noises) running it as a VI in Logic Pro and Big Sur!! I'll try rebooting and see if that fixes it. aL Quote Gear: Yamaha MODX8, Mojo 61, NS2 73, C. Bechstein baby grand.
GovernorSilver
Model 15 is demanding on my iPad so I'm not surprised it can also be CPU hungry on a regular Mac.
cphollis
Just snagged them all. Thanks for the heads up! Quote Want to make your band better? Check out "A Guide To Starting (Or Improving!) Your Own Local Band"
Fleer
You can get Model 15 straight from the Mac App Store as well the iOS App Store. Don"t forget to download those two free in-app sound banks, they"re really good.
MoodyBluesKeys
Thanks for the heads-up. Got the IOS apps yesterday, the only Mac I have that is Big Sur is an i5 4GB RAM Macbook Air, but I got it anyhow. It does produce a sound, and it may not be free indefinitely. marino
I'm sort of tempted to get some old Mac, after more than 20 years of Windows love/hate, just in order to run the Moog 15 app. (I used to have a Mac in the 90s). Oh, and probably Alchemy too.
Fleer
Better watch out, only the newer Macs (post 2013 or 2014) are able to run Big Sur, the OS needed for Model 15.
