Tonysounds
Hey all...any of you Roland Jupiter X owners try loading the JD800 Expansion pack yet? I am having difficulty loading it into my Jupiter. I can see the exs file on my Jupiter-formatted thumbdrive, but when I load the drive into the Jupiter, it says "No Expansion File Found!". I've used 2 different sticks. The file is on both sticks, 272kb. Quote Hitting "Play" does NOT constitute live performance. -Me.
mcgoo
Hey Tony. I don't have the Jupiter-X, but that file size looks suspiciously small. Sure it copied over to your thumb drive correctly? Sure it copied over to your thumb drive correctly? 272kb is the correct file size. Did you possibly download the wrong JD800 file? The Zenology file doesn't work in the Jupiter. aellison62
Where exactly did you put it on your thumbdrive? I know that the Jupiter X needs to have expansion files downloaded into either the "SOUNDS" file or the Root. Can't remember which one right now but it DOES make a difference. Did instructions specifiy where to put it on thumbdrive? I assume you formatted your thumbdrive on the Jupiter?
