Lit
You don't need an interface to make the Korg SV-1 work with your iPad. You can use the usb output and plug into the cameraUSB3/lightning cable which goes into your iPad/iPhone. By going from the headphone out into the input of the Korg SV-1 you don't need a mixer as it has been mentioned here before. Hit the "LOCALL OFF" Button and you only hear the sample coming from your iPhone. By turning the volume knob of the SV1 you could blend in tunes from the SV1. By directing different apps to different MidiChannels you can even swtich between SampleApps on your phone by hitting the "FUNCTION" button and then setting the MidiChannel starting at the penultimate C-Key for channel 1, C# for channel 2 etc. If you root several apps to the exact channel you can blend the samples as well. So a lot of opportunities to mix the sound you love.
