Bosendorphen
I've seen threads here on the Numa Compact 2 and 2X but don't recall anyone noting how hot the output signal was. I have to dial back the Numa on its QSC amp channel to about 30% relative to my Mellotron Micro or Alesis QS7, or anything else for that matter. Anyone else note how powerful its output signal is? I know Korg stuff was pretty hot. brenner13
Oh yeah. Numa C2 and X do have very hot outs. My other gigging board the MODX has super soft output. Got wacky gain settings on the mixer and have to make super sure I don"t reverse the cables by accident.
Bosendorphen
Thanks for the confirmation! I have to be careful with swapping cables myself! The_Star_Guy
Also are you using the standard stereo line outputs or the AUX output? Please note that the NC2 / NC2X have the ability to run the headphones output at either headphone level or as an AUX stereo line-level send via the TRS jack, depending upon your settings in the Global edit section. If you do not require that jack as a headphone output then you might want to try that adjustment to see if it better conforms with your needs? Bosendorphen
I'm using one of the standard line outs. I don't mind it being hot, just have to adjust my amp levels accordingly which is simple enough now that I determined the ratio betwen the other instrument(s).
