Dig My Rig--Let's see your setup!

Gotcha. Monitoring is a bit challenging in a semi-circle configuration like yours (and mine) where it's desirable to have speakers on both sides no matter where you're playing from. I'm always curious how others handle this. Thanks.

Yes, for years I've been annoyed when playing a keyboard and having speakers only to the left or right of me. I stumbled across a used set of HS5's at a GC store and picked them up. Now I just need a third pair for my desk. :)

Actually, I've decided I should order one of these:

Yes , YES! Awesome device. I almost bought one but ended up with this instead as it's one of the few devices that allows me to have one of several signals routed to 2 pairs of monitors active at the same time. Jim Coleman makes some very high quality stuff. Recently I integrated my PC monitors with this. It passively passes the computer audio to my speakers when everything else (including it) are powered off.

Recent one-off gig. Pedalboard is kind of hidden.

New toy! Picked it up locally for a very good price. One of the ends was smashed, so I took both of them off and used cap-head machine screws and locking nuts to affix the ends, running them through from the outside in. I think it looks quite high-tech.

Plus now it'll fit into the SKB-SC3212 that was in my attic.

Love the sounds and it's very intuitive to program for an old Model-D guy like me.

Cool, vonnor! Now you just need one of those white Motifs, and you'll have a really patriotic look going on. :thu:

Since you guys seem to appreciate these kind of pictures, here's one I took after borrowing the church's old JUNO-106 and JV-90:

I'm creating duplicated Performances on the JUNO and the JV so that I can use either if needed. It comes in extremely handy that the XV Collection exists.

Here's my rig from yesterday's gig. The lower board is Yamaha Moxf8 and the upper one is Moxf6.

Interesting. I just 'upgraded' my MOX6 to an MOXF8, and was going to sell the 6. But lately I've been thinking about keeping both of them.

My favorite rig is what I use in the 10 piece horn band. Two boards. No MIDI.

I'm sad because I may have to add a synth to the rig to play the sped up guitar lines from Shake Your Booty. I will see how it feels on the RH3 tonight.

I had originally done this video to be included in a short film by someone else, but since I am separated from that project, I thought I would put the video to good use.

In order of appearance, Dr Drum with NCH digital mixing program; MicroKORG and Roland E-16. Music is a short piece I used for intro and outro to radio show as well as some cute stuff for segments.

This is on Facebook, so hopefully you all can see it.

I offer my humble current rig to add to the august collection of gear in this thread.

Nord Piano 2 HP is my main and favorite axe, perfect size, sound, feel, and form factor for what I need. Nord Electro 3 61 (in the backpack bag below the stand) is great for jam sessions and for the top tier on rock gigs, mainly used for organ. Novation Mininova and Bass Station 2 for jazz fusion fun and games, and Novation Circuit to jam along with as my opportunities to play with real musicians (my preference) are hard to come by lately. My live amplification is a SSv3.

Not pictured: my PX-5S, Trigger Finger Pro and FA-06 which always stay at home as composition tools.

Nord: Piano 5 73, Electro 6D

Casio: PX-5S

Yamaha: P-121

Novation: MiniNova, BSII, Circuit

Thanks, Canoehead! Good eye. :) I'm surprised you can see anything at all, after that horrible accident you had in Algonquin Park...

Mr. McAdoo tells me that the decal on the side was only put on organs being sold directly to bands. I felt bad covering it up, but those handles had to go exactly there from a weight distribution POV.
