His Zippo lighter with steel case was in there as well. The two made contact, perhaps with the help of change in his pocket, and got really hot. Luckily, he felt the heat before anything combusted, but had a welt in his thigh. Strange shit can happen if you're not careful. Never a DUH! moment! Well, almost never. OK, OK! Sometimes never!
