Tedster
One of the most underrated "power pop" bands ever...mainly because they came to light in the shadow of the Beatles...and how tragic a story. First Pete Ham, probably the principal songwriter and vocalist of the group, hanged himself. Then, several years later, Tom Evans did the same thing. Now only Joey Molland remains. A little note for our Detroit area forumites...for a brief while, New Baltimore native Adam Probilski (he goes by another last name now, but I forget what) played guitar for one of the incarnations of Badfinger. jbote
"Straight Up", the Badfinger album produced by Todd Rundgren with a few tracks produced by George Harrison, is well worth seeking out. A little known classic. RIP, Michael. John
