Gabriel E.
Ooh! Can you say "Marshall Super Lead"?? I wouldn't do too much to it. Maybe change some resistor values. Otherwise I'd just do a cap job. A String
My Dad has the exact same amp. Someday it will be mine! I love that amp Guitarzan. The old tube sound is so warm. I was also told that the tremolo is one of the best ones ever made. Enjoy that sucker. I know it's loud, but my Dad has been playing his loud for over 25 years and it's still rocking. WornNeck
Yeah, you got a good one there. That is the "pre-rubber-molding" design with the choke transformer. Be sure to check for the schematic glued to the sheilding plate sandwiched between the chasis and the lower side of the top. If it's there, you can pinpoint the mfr. date by reading the dates of the revisions to the original circuits. PS-I'm running mine through a homemade cab with a pair of old Celestions out of a Marshall 8x10. It sounds great! Enjoy. I have scans of schematics and some manuals/ads if you want them.
