Here's a preview of the first guitar we'll be completing for the Spring batch. It's just a few days away from being ready to go. It will be the first of 7 new guitars that we'll be rolling out over the next 6 weeks or so.

It's an all swamp ash body with a honeyburst poly finish and 3 ply binding.

We're putting in a pair of DiMarzio Bluesbuckers, all black hardware, pau ferro pickup rings, rosewood knobs. The neck is maple with a pau ferro fingerboard and paua dots with surrounding brass rings.

Tonally, this one should have lots of chime.

The weight should be around 6lbs.

The price is $2450 including shipping in the US.

RockBeach Guitars... Just now getting set up to build out of my new home. Flagship model is the CamelBack but will build custom guitars based on the wood grain and "art". All of my designs will be chambered body guitars for added resonance and will feature extreme versatility and tone range. Boggs

Thanks guys. That's actually the simplest of the guitars we have underway right now.

We've been steadily picking up production and there are 7 guitars approaching completion now with another 9 in early production, so there should be a whole bunch of new shots coming in the next few weeks.

For anyone in need of good cable, I manufacture high-end guitar, microphone, speaker cable and power cord using Canare cable and Belden cable for my high-end power cord. I use Neutrik (mostly gold contact), G&H, and Wattgate connectors. I make custom cable to order with any length and connector combinations desired.

Robert Keeley, Lindy Fralin, Rick Derringer and Harry Jacobson are some fairly high profile folks who use and praise my cable.

Here is high-end Y cable for Marshalls and Clones:

I am a recent combat veteran (Army, Afghanistan) who makes most of these cables to order. They come with a lifetime warranty and are designed to compete with Monster, Klotz, Evidence, Zaolla, Planet Waves, and George L at a much lower price.

They can be purchased through my website - usaull same or next day shipping and custom ordered by emialing or calling me.

Not expensive luthiery guitars

Please check:

http://rekguitars.com/

I'm not sure if You know, but probably all of You (form the USA and West Europe) could have not expensive luthiery guitars from Poland. It's not possibile in the USA for 1300 USD to have high quality luthiery guitar. I have seen the same class luthiery job from USA and from Germany for 3000-3500 USD.

I have my signature guitar (doublenecked) called Portato, and it's very high quality luthier job.

This is really great looking. Look over at www.erikhalbig.com and send him an email from there (he is Sara Evans's lead player) and plays mandos and may be very interested. I support him and the group so tell him I was the one that sent you. I think he may be interested and getting one of your instruments on a stage 200+ nights a year can't hurt!

How about a different model "Trad"...and then there's a new body shape, with a revamped "MagPi" system that utilizes a narrow aperture humbucker with a double piezo bridge pup...and of course the just released "electroClassic".....

The sunburst guitar has a KA "Ktron" pup at the neck...Kent's version of a Gretsch Filtertron...bright and clear for you rockabilly guys that want the acoustic edge....

The middle guitar is the new shape, although I'm still tweaking a bit. The new MagPi system sounds GREAT...and I'll be going to this on all future models, although the customer will still have the choice of a pickguard mounted magnetic. I'm going to be covering the dual blade pup with a matching cocobolo cover....

The "electroClassic" uses a standard jack style preamp, with a v/t circuit that I designed...in addition to a polymer piezo cable UST. I adapted piezo cabling typically used in the security business(as an undergound sensor). HIGHLY sensitive and accurate.... soundclip on the website....

Thanks Myles. Ben tells me that the show went really well for him. I wish I could have been there.
Jim,

I think it went more than well for Ben. His amps and the 65 amps were the hit of the show. I am already being flooded with questions about his amps from folks that saw them at the show or saw them after I added them to my website.

I played your guitar for quite a while. It is a gorgeous instrument to say the least! I had one guitar on my "next up" list before the show but now I have two .... something of yours. When I get a bit ahead on $$$$ I will be calling you.

Thank you so very much for sending that guitar to the show.

Jim,

I will be talking to you when I can get a bit ahead on $$$$. I spent the last of my available $$$$ on a Fargen amp earlier today. Maybe it was your guitar that made me sound decent, maybe it was the amp, but worst case after the amp I would be at least 1/2 way there :) if it was a combination of the two!

I guess the show was a bit more expensive for me than I thought it would be. I could not walk away from Ben's amps (and actually there is a 2x12 cab from JDesigns that is going to be really hard to keep out of my head).

I played all his amps prior to the show opening and was darn impressed to say the least. I am glad I did this before the show started as during the show it was hard to get into their room. They were one of the biggest hits at the show. That was nice for me as it confirmed that I was not the only one impressed.

Jim I saw and listened to your guitar. Very nice in appearance and tone. Kind of sounds like something Rik Emmet would like.

I have a bunch of musician buddies in Portland. I guess it is the coolest place to live or something.. Like 10 of my friends moved out there and they won't shut up about the place.

THE LATEST MP3 DOWNLOADS:

Been busy lately with several updated recordings on the electroCoustic series of instruments. Just thought I would compile them into one post....

Here's the new electroClassic:

classical tune:

One in dadgad tuning:

Here's a sample of the new prototype amp...basically just playing with a variety of recordings. Bob Ingram, the amp designer, is doing the playing.

And the clip just finished yesterday, with guitar, bass and mandolin, all electroCoustics....

Thought that some players on this board might be interested in this guitar I made since I'm a small custom maker and most people haven't heard of me. I posted it under the main Guitar category but it appears that someone took it upon themself to delete it there.

I hadn't posted to this forum before so I was just poping it on to see what people thought (great conversation material for a forum).

It took the cake at the 05 winter NAMM show and I'll have it with me at the summer show in Indianapolis if anyone wants to try it out. It was also in last month's issue of Guitar Player Magazine in case you missed it.

Lots more stuff on my website!

I was the one that deleted the post after a number of complaints. I generally think it is pretty clear, even to new folks, that there is a sticky post at the top of the forum for these things.

In any event .... welcome to the Forum.

Ok. Thanks for the welcome.

I don't get to spend a lot of time online so I'm not up on the differences on all the boards. I've only lately been trying to participate on a few. It seemed that having to bury my post in a thread that was already open (old?) wasn't a very good way to post a "new" thread. Seems to me if people are complaining about a guitar post on a guitar board then they may be missing the point. But I suppose that I am wrong, eh?

Actually we have found this method works better than a new thread. Once a new thread is not looked at for a day or two it moves back in the board. There are folks that look at this post all the time for new items or old ones for info.
