phig
My account was just cleared for a digital recorder I did not like.I am now very close to ordering the junior.I tried one in a music store quite a few years ago and was impressed. It seems everyone loves these amps .Opinions?I play all kinds of music but like a good clean tone above all.It will be for home use only. TeleCarlos
Well, I've read they are nice but so are the Peavey Classic 30 that I also just bought. Refunds are good! Wanna know what really sent me over the to the Peavey? The various and well documented mods available for it (all available in .pdf). I like to tinker. Big Red 67
I have the Pro Junior. I have been told that they have a better tone. I don't know cause I'm happy enough with the pro I don't really need to try the other. Yes loud enough to play out with. I have never had a problem with being loud enough. I even get requests to turn down. Big Red's Ride Blog
musicalhair
http://www.musicplayer.com//ultimatebb.php?/ubb/get_topic/f/19/t/010721.html#000000 That is a recent thread basically comparing the Fender and the Peavey, the guy ended up going with the Peavey feeling it was cleaner at working volumes. I've not used the Peavey, but I'm happy with the Junior. You might want to hold off though if spotlessly clean is your goal. The Polytones might serve you better. Also, the price might be higher but the "Pubster 25" and "Clubster 25" Rivera amps have two channels so I would think that would mean the sweeeeeet clean second channel (which also can be nicely overdriven on my amps)that Rivera is known for. check out some comedy I've done: http://louhasspoken.tumblr.com/ My Unitarian Jihad Name: Brother Broadsword of Enlightened Compassion. Chris.
I have a blues junior and it is lush!!! i love its simplicity.. during my house move this past few weeks, the only essentials, music wise, i've needed in amongst all the boxes is just the guitar, lead and blues junior, i've been loving that simplicity! nice clean tone, but i'd probably favour my fender twin M80 for the clean tone since its solid state and will be clean whatever the volume.. a truly amazing clean sound. but overall for what it is, i'd give the blues jr a 10/10. thats not a harmony central 10/10, thats a proper 10/10 http://www.faceoffriendship.org/fof_banner_468.gif
