NMcGuitar
Unfortunately, I don't have experience with either. I just wanted to say welcome aboard If you have a link to your site, it's generally considered spammy to put it anywhere except in your signature line. And it's always considered spammy to just promote yourself. You don't seem like you are trying to spam here. We get pretty touchy and defensive when we get spammers (which we get way too many of these days), so don't sweat it if the response was a little unexpected. Stick around. This is a great place, with a lot of great, talented, knowledgable, and just downright nice folks. Tells us a little more about yourself, and get to know us a bit. May all your thoughts be random! - Neil www.McFaddenArts.com www.MikesGarageRocks.com
pithecanthropus erectus
NMcGuitar thanks for warmth welcome. I've been playing since 2001. Metal style. I learn by tab, so far I can play some "moderate difficulty" songs [including the solos] from megadeth, old metallica, slayer. What I'm dreaming of, I want to know theory behind notes. I'm totally blind to scale, modal, composition, harmony, etc. I want to learn them from the videos (dvd/cd-rom), the only media that I think I can get the most out of. I can't afford a private instructor. thanks --==erectus==--
