Blue Strat
Yesterday I saw the US Navy band in Clover, SC. GOod show! It was mostly big band era stuff with a good bit of 60's motown and R&B thrown in for good measure. They covered some Glen Miller, Benny Goodman, Wilson Picket, Sam & Dave, & Smokey Robinson, as well as a variety of other composers. Great FREE show! I'd recommend it to any music lover. Fendercaster
I saw the Navy's "Country Current" (country/bluegrass) band several years ago, an excellent group of musicians! Their guitarist at the time (I've forgotten his name) sat in with our band once, a really nice guy and a helluva player. A couple months ago, I was making a delivery to a local school, snd "Country Current" was setting up for a show for the students. The guys were really friendly, and went out of their way to make room for me to make my delivery. Wayne, the lead guitarist, let my try out his Martin, a really sweet guitar. As bluestrat stated, it's well worth checking out any of the Armed Forces bands. My gear: http://fendercaster.freeservers.com/guit3.html If you own two Lexus cars, do you have Lexi?
