Blue Strat
I was going through my 150+ CD's and I came across a few that I hadn't listened to in a while. Right now I've got Dishwalla's Pet Your Friends playing in my computer. Great CD! Good guitar tones and catchy songs. I'm also going to give Sarah McLachlan's Solace, K's Choice Paradise in Me, Fiona Apple's Tidal, and the Romeo + Juliet Soundtrack a listen. BlueStrat a.k.a. Noodlesbad
I've got one of those triple CD holders deals, so right now there's Aphex Twin's "Come To Daddy", Thee Shams' "Please Yourself" and David Bowie's "Ziggy Stardust", but I'm actually listening to a local group on my record player - The Fortunate Sons' "Burned Again". It's straight up rock'n'roll. Here's a few pictures I took of a show they did last April. You get the idea. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v487/noodlesbad/fortunate2.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v487/noodlesbad/fortunate1.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v487/noodlesbad/fortunate3.jpg Note the thrown underwear -- and of course, mandatory shoes-three-feet-apart rock stance. picker
I have a mix CD with a batch of mp3s that range from Bryan Duncan "Sunday Go to Meetin'"to Captain Beyond (the entire album) to Alan Parsons Project "I Robot" to Todd Rundgren "Black & White" and many points in between. Always remember that you are unique. Just like everyone else.

Shoes
I've been listening and making noise to Wide Mouth Mason. Little known trio produced by Gordie Johnson of Big Sugar. Funky wierd and fun I still think guitars are like shoes, but louder.

Base
The soundtrack to series 3 of Teachers (Brit show about, er, Teachers), but only bought it yesterday and haven't got through it all yet, so can't really comment! Also, a compilation disk we made of songs my band wants to try: Bitch (Meredith Brooks) Make Me Smile(Come Up & See Me) (Steve Harley & Cockney Rebel) Constant Craving (kd Lang) Should I Stay (The Clash) My Generation (The Who) The Chain (Fleetwood Mac) Maggie May (Rod Stewart) Atomic (Blondie) Left Outside Alone (Anastacia) Only Happy When It Rains (Garbage) And probably others I've forgotten. Make Me Smile is a great song, but I may have overdone it, I am developing a nervous twitch when I hear it Fa Fa FA Fa fa fa fa fa FA fa FA FA

JimK
Been swapping between Jeff Beck's "Guitar Shop" and Satriani's "Is There Love in Space?". I still think the "Guitar Shop" album cover is one of the best of all time. In an effort to improve the responsiveness of e-mail for everyone, the e-mail servers will be out of service. Mark Zeger
The new Pat Metheny Group CD, "The Way Up". Basically, it's one 68 minute piece of music. Very impressive, but I've been a fan of Metheny & Mays for 25 years. Richard Bona "Reverence". Maybe the single most talented musician I've heard. Or seen. Caught him live in NYC about 3 weeks ago. Simply amazing bassist, guitarist, and especially, vocalist.
