PRS 20th magazine (a G.P. publication)

 Shoes

Recommended Posts

I happened to pick this up the other day and was quite happy that I did. There was quite a bit I didn't know about Paul and his guitars. Good read and plenty of terriffic images from the past to the present.

One thing I did notice (actually I looked for it) was the total absence of the Single Cut which makes a sneak appearance only in an ad for Wild West Guitars. I did hope that in true documentary fashion there would have been some ability to explore (not exploit) this story.

I still think guitars are like shoes, but louder.

I'll have to look for that book. Somewere I still have the brochure from when I bought my first PRS in '89.

Just to stir the pot, If Gibson sued PRS over the Single Cut, shouldn't PRS sue Carvin for the California Carve Top?

I just bought my first PRS tonight - just an SE Soapbar II for now. Glad they came out with it in a double cutaway. Not much of a single cut guy.

Tis my first p90 as well, so it fills a niche for me. Sweet lil guitar, I must say - and it's a PERFECT match for my Mesa/Boogie DC-3.
