Caevan O’Shite
Well, it wasn't too long ago there was an article with a brief interview with John Goodsall in Guitar Player magazine. He was still musically active at the time; I'll have to see if I can find that issue (I just did a quick search for it here in my house, but I've got to get going to work soon). I saw him play with Brand X a few years back; what a chops monster! Noodlesbad
Looks like he's doing stuff with Marc Wagnon and Percy Jones' Tunnels group. They released a live album his year that he plays on. National Capital Rock
The Lone Chicken
John Goodsall...my, it's been forever since I last heard his name! I had several of Brand X's albums back in the early 80's, several of which were only available as imports back then, with "Livestock" being, I thought, their best recording. John did indeed do some exceptional guitar work on those albums. Robert J. weaseltrap
Yeah, John Goodsall and John Etheridge are both monsters. Ever heard the Brand X album that didn't say Brand X on it? It was called "Marscape" and had the entire band plus Robin Lumley. If you loved that early shredding fusion, you'd love that one. -Bob My tunes are HERE
