revolead
I have a DS-1 mod. I love it. I'm glad to know the Metal one is great. I already own a metal zone, so this will probably be my next effect. I'll send it in when I get the money. Shut up and play.
Werewolf by Night
So... what was improved by the mods on those two models? revolead
The DS-1 is more natural, with reduced his, and is far more dynamic. The mods smooth out the overall tone and to put it simply, make the other pedal sound like shit. Shut up and play.
PeeMonkey
The MT-2 mod has a toggle switch, to switch through 3 mods I believe, makes the old amp sound like a little girly 1) an upgraded version of the stock MT-2 2) triple diod - more tubey like 3) ultra tube - just high output, makes it scream the pedal just increase presences and bass, much more better equalizer on board, also not as noisy as the previous MT-2 I mainly use the triple diod gives it a more thick like tone, probably the best sounding one out of the three switchable ones in my opinion. Teahead
RK is The Man! I've heard what his mods can do for a TS9 first hand and I'd find it almost impossible to believe that someone couldn't appreciate the changes and improvements almost immediately after plugging in. If you get the chance guys, check out his original design Fuzz Head. He can do great things when starting from scratch too, the Fuzz Head and the Java Boost both feel like extensions of my amp, extra channels that should have been in there already! Heck of a nice guy too. Pedal Clips
