myles_rose
There is a big amp show coming. If you are an amp maker or know an amp maker maybe look at the page at www.ampshow.com I also have info and a floor plan at http://www.guitaramplifierblueprinting.com/ampshow.html Here is a bit of the text that is going out: First Annual AMP SHOW May 7, 2005 Airtel Plaza Hotel and conference Center, Van Nuys, CA. The floor plan below shows one of four floors. The room layout for the upper floors is essentially the same layout without the ballrooms. Room position will generally be the same with the first room number being the floor number. This is an initial announcement. There will be updates in the near future. Finally there is consumer music event that addresses the needs of amplifier, and speaker manufacturers. No longer the stepchild of the electric guitar and bass, amplifiers have carved out an essential and unique place in the hearts and ears of musicians. From the major manufacturers to the Boutique builders, AMP SHOW will bring it all together for the first time. AMP SHOW brings the back line into the forefront, focusing on demonstrations and technical evaluation, enabling the consumer to, at last hear, at 'real world' levels, the amps, cabinets, speakers, pickups and accessories, that make up the classic, and the cutting edge of the electrified instrument world. Produced by Loni Specter (LA GUITAR SHOW) & Myles Rose (www.guitaramplifierblueprinting.com) AMP SHOW will feature over 40 private rooms for each manufacturer to facilitate demos, with no restriction. Limited open floor space for non-demo related products and services are also available. Highlights of AMP SHOW include; *Live performances and demonstrations *personal appearances by endorsing artists *Thousands of dollars in amplifier and product giveaways *Technical panel discussion by amp gurus, moderated by Myles Rose Bonus activities *AMP awards (exhibitors only) *DVD "Factory Tour" sampler including all exhibitors-free to 1st thousand attendees (march 15 deadline for 5 minute footage submission) Exhibitor Prices: Standard demo room includes Friday & Saturday nights stay $750. Werewolf by Night
Where's that dancing can of Spam? Just kidding!! "Big Amp Show"... cool! But... I thought that little amps were in style? Well, back to the amp-shop! Seriously, that's too cool. One day when I visit your State, I'll have to make sure that it coincides with another Amp Show. Best of luck with everything, Myles!
