$43 large for a guit with only one p/up, I don't think so! Course I could gut it, I reckon, glue on a coupla them Seemore Dunkins and let 'er rip...maybe bolt on one o' them there Pete Rose or is it Pinky Floyd twangy things, let me see what I've got in my junk drawer here....

i'd spend half that on a modern builder, like say Bennedetto, or Steve Anderson and then watch it climb in value every year.

 

my buddy paid 3.5K for a handmade archtop 10 years ago, street price today is around 10K. can't remember the builder off the top of my head though :freak:

This guy I jammed with recently was a curl-your-hair balls-to-the-wall player. He had a Tokai Strat, a couple of Jay Tursers, and a Fender MIM Nashville Tele. Burned the paint off the walls with 'em.
