Funk Jazz
i'd spend half that on a modern builder, like say Bennedetto, or Steve Anderson and then watch it climb in value every year. my buddy paid 3.5K for a handmade archtop 10 years ago, street price today is around 10K. can't remember the builder off the top of my head though
Shoes
Well it's custom made, exceptionally well kept and laid out like a fretless wonder. If I buy it do I get to jam about with Diana Krall I still think guitars are like shoes, but louder.

revolead
I don't care what it is. I would never pay more than 10 grand for a guitar. 50 grand is just ridiculous. Shut up and play.

This guy I jammed with recently was a curl-your-hair balls-to-the-wall player. He had a Tokai Strat, a couple of Jay Tursers, and a Fender MIM Nashville Tele. Burned the paint off the walls with 'em.
