This seems to be coming up a lot.

 

The classic stereotypes:

 

Guitar and Keyboard players: Moody intellectuals (how's that for self-serving!)

Bass players: quiet, reserved and easy going

Drummers: absolute lunatics

Singers: Egomaniacs who can't shut up.

 

Think of the Who or Van Halen.

 

Grains of truth there or not? I'm wearing my asbestos suit.

Seriously, I know what you mean. Some folks can superimpose "condescending" on top of any other personality traits. :mad: Takes all kinds. I just turn the page on that type.

Exceptions to these rules are interesting:

 

Neal Peart the intellectual drummer.

 

Michael Anthony the crazy bassist.

 

Elliot Easton - a favorite guitarist, but not known to be the sharpest tool in the shed.
