I thought it was funny too, but it's really not any different than the one with the overweight kid doing his star wars light sabre thing, the one that caused such an uproar because the video got posted on the web and the the kid was razzed & apparently went through some kind of breakdown.

What's it gonna do to this kid?

Don't get me wrong here either. It's my belief that if you have anything put on video or pictures you've given up the right to privacy in that regard so live with your decision and it's consequences.

Kinda like the stupid schmucks that video tape their robbery, rape or other crime & then piss and moan about it when that picture or video is used against them.

I disagree - the light saber kid was videotaped secretly, he didn't pose for the camera.

The karate kid in Tedster's posts is mugging for the camera and attempting to show off - and failing miserably. :D

Not be picky Billster, but it is my understanding that the "Starwars Kid" was aware he was being filmed. He was doing it for a school project. From the article I read, he had a breakdown because it was released to the public and they added all sorts of effects and things. This, in his eyes, was making fun of him.

I hope I didn't offend you Billster. You're a good guy and I respect your opinions.

Are we aware of any lawsuits related to Tedster's avatar?

None that I know of, but then I'm not up to speed on my "Bone heads who think they know Karate" precedents...He could have been recently added I suppose.

That's my understanding of the thing too. You responded before I could. Thanks for having my back. :D

Funny thing about those kinds of incidents...I suppose for every successful backflip, there are tons of incidents just like that. I would venture that it'd be rare to be able to complete a backflip without falling on your face a few times. :D Although the clip is funny, I kinda hope he kept working at it and eventually was successful.

I suppose you're right. I remember, after the "Indiana Jones" movies came out, a friend of mine bought a bull whip. By the time he was able to use it properly, his back and sides were covered with cuts. Sometimes pain is part of the learning proccess...

the funniest thing to me is that he got up and tried to keep goin. We all see how that worked out.

I gotta give him props tho, I couldnt do a backflip, or a partial backflip.
