Teahead
I've had a love/adoration thing going with Robert Keeleys pedals for some time now. So I decided to invest in a custom private stock "Wooden Effect." This is how my pedal looks at the minute... http://www.robertkeeley.com/images/other/KPS-4-500-year-old-RR-Pine.jpg It's recovered river pine, sheer indulgence I know, but it should make a beautiful pedal case. I haven't fully decided if I want it to contain a Java Boost or a Fuzz Head. I have both, plus a Keeley Compressor and I know whichever I decide on, Robert will deliver something special. A big part of this is curiosity. I really wonder if he can improve on the sounds of the stock designs, or better yet, if I'll be able to perceive that difference! I'll report back when I have my washed and well dried hands on it... Tea. Pedal Clips
Funk Jazz
does keeley offer the wood as an option? or did you dream this idea up? it's great either way! then you'll need a hardwood pedal board
Teahead
He offers this as a Private Stock option. All the details are here on his site. He is letting me make changes to the stock pedal, custom toggle and bass response namely. With these builds, he says the sky's the limit. I really can't wait to hear it. Tea. Philip OKeefe
The only thing I would worry a bit about would be shielding... but I have to admit, that's a purdy piece of wood!
Teahead
Copper foil shielding apparently... http://www.robertkeeley.com/images/other/KPS-copper-foil-inside.jpg She is pretty isn't she? Not bad for 500 years old! Tea. Pedal Clips
mwestenberg
For a premium price in a pedal size I would dump the pine and request a curly maple http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v429/mwestenberg/maplecurly11s50q60web.jpg curly cherry http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v429/mwestenberg/bigcherry.jpg or a burl in the wood of your choice http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v429/mwestenberg/EUCBURL301A-2.jpg Lyrics. Wasted space between solos. I can't tell you, but I can play it for you.
