my favorite jam band. Herring is freaking amazing, Oteil ain't too shabby either, but Matt Mundy on Mando (heh heh) is beyond mortal

have you been getting some shows from that live music archive? there's a couple of really good board tapes on there that i've downloaded.

anyhoo, i think they got much better without col bruce hampton, IMHO.

A friend of mine loaned an album of theirs (I don't remember the title right now), and I was blown away. :thu: They really are amazing.

May all your thoughts be random!

Bruce Hampton, who founded Aquarium Rescue Unit, has almost always had great guitar players. Check out some of Glenn Phillips' (one of the two original guitar players for Hampton Grease Band) work over the years. A really underrated and virtually unknown guy who's continued to make really great and interesting music.

Hey page. :)

Oh yes! :D I've got so many shows i'm running out of room on my hard drive. I got a bunch of Derek Trucks with a few of the guys from ARU, and 'Phil & Friends' with Waren Haynes & Trucks.

Have you heard the 'Fareed Haque Group'? Man...that's one of the tightest bands ever. I got three shows from them, and two shows from 'Garage Mahal'. I'm going to put them all on disc to make room for more shows. There's something about live music that can't be beat.:cool:
