DIAMOND DUST
These guys were so tight it's sick. Jimmy Herring is now one of my favorite guitar players! He's got jazz licks from hell. If you haven't heard them, and you love improvised music, check them out now!! http://b-cordova.dmusic.com/

NMcGuitar
A friend of mine loaned an album of theirs (I don't remember the title right now), and I was blown away. They really are amazing. Big Red 67
Saw them with David Grusen at High Seira festaville. Local Joe Craven was playing with David and sat in with the Unit. It was off the hook. Joe Cravin is sooo under rated. He outplayed David and David admitted so on stage while they were performing. GeorgeVW
Bruce Hampton, who founded Aquarium Rescue Unit, has almost always had great guitar players. Check out some of Glenn Phillips' (one of the two original guitar players for Hampton Grease Band) work over the years. A really underrated and virtually unknown guy who's continued to make really great and interesting music.

Oh yes! I've got so many shows i'm running out of room on my hard drive. I got a bunch of Derek Trucks with a few of the guys from ARU, and 'Phil & Friends' with Waren Haynes & Trucks. Have you heard the 'Fareed Haque Group'? Man...that's one of the tightest bands ever. I got three shows from them, and two shows from 'Garage Mahal'. I'm going to put them all on disc to make room for more shows. There's something about live music that can't be beat. http://b-cordova.dmusic.com/
Big Red 67
I agree. we have gone to live improv format for writing/recording new stuff. We often jam live with out any net. Can we trade some stuff. I have old dead shows, a copy of pigon park, a copy of one of the acid tests. Different qualities from one to the next.
