BiC
Have you been tinkering around with my avatar??? I never noticed the eyeballs or right hand moving before! You da man!!! Thanx! A String
Ya, sorry BiC, I'm one of those guys who's never quite happy with his work...I'm always tinkering...I'll leave it alone now. A String
Would this be over the top? http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v251/twocaraboos/JesusRocks1.gif You know, If I had the original pic of the "Buddy Jesus", Guitar and background, I could make an animated pic with a lot less quality degradation. The main problem is I'm working with pics that are already compressed so by the time I stitch them together, the compression is way too much. I prefer picture quality over the added glamore & glitz. A String
O.k. I redid it in another program. southpawstrat
I think some pyrotechnics would really compliment the picture. fantasticsound
Pyro-technics?? That would be another Christian character, no, strat monk? It's easiest to find me on Facebook. Neil Bergman Soundclick fntstcsnd
Blue Strat
I think that a blue strat avatar with pickups getting constantly switched out would be cool. A Strat with the white single coils moving off one side of the image and a set of SD Hot Rails moving in on the other and replacing them would be great! But I don't have the skills... cosmo115
You're very talented A! I'm sure it costs more than free (my price), but what program do you use to do that? I've never used it, but is that PhotoShop?

A String
I can swapout the pics for you BiC.... All done. Enjoy! (Remember that in no way does this mean you have to keep this avatar forever. If you get bored of it next week and change to something else, that's o.k.) Also, if you don't see the changes, try refreshing the page. Blue Strat
Originally posted by A String: I can do that for you, what do you want them to change to? Or does it matter? What would be really cool is if you could change the guitar in your picture piece by piece into my guitar (see my avatar picture)! That would be great! Or, a picture of my Strat that lasts maybe 5 seconds followed by a bunch of random pictures of different strats (although the same size and view as mine) that change rapidly and then go back to the 5 second image of my strat. The more crazy the color schemes on the random strats the better! or maybe just take the picture that you used to change the pickup on and use the original and flicker back and forth between it and mine at something like 500ms intervals (1/2 second) PS. I love the job you did with BiC's avatar! BlueStrat a.k.a. A String
O.k. This one was a much better quality, but because of the number of frames, I had to knock it down a bit. It was originally over 1Mb. Now it's about 240K. Still big but I felt that the quality could only suffer so much. Hope you like, took about 30 mins to do! http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v251/twocaraboos/bluestrat.gif Craig Stringnetwork on Facebook String Network Forum My Music
