Shoes
I'm under the assumption (that's qualifying things a little isn't it?) that Schwartz is one of the longest names with one vowel. I always quiz people on the guitarist noodling about on China Girl (Bowie) or First We Take Manhattan (Warrens remake of Cohen) The unmistakable sound of.... You know. I still think guitars are like shoes, but louder.
Super 8
Did you know, That the size and shape of Gumby's head was inspired by the father of Gumby's creator? . . . This guy: http://gumbyworld.com/memorylane/Realife2.JPGhttp://ucsub.colorado.edu/~meierna/dc2003/images/Week1%20020.jpg He also wanted Gumby to have a tall, slender shape, but he didn't want it to become a phallic symbol. It worked! To this day, I have NEVER seen a Gumby-shaped dildo... He also wanted Gumby's head to have a bump of wisdom that the Buddhists have. The only difference is that they have it over the center of their head and Gumby's is over to the side. So there it is. Now you know the truth, and the truth shall set you free... Not only is my Wife's wedding ring plantinum, but her engagement ring is as well. Both of them together appraise for about $5,000. cosmo115
quote:Originally posted by A String: Did you know that there was a theory on the books based on the existence of particles which travel backwards in time. This theory explains that the existence of all of the matter in the universe is here because of one particle. This particle would have passed by me at 10:45 PM and added one tiny part of the letter "A" on my keyboard. Eventually, this particle reaches the end of time and begins it's journey back. On the way through I am able to witness it at 10:45 PM as a part of my desk. Then it's moves back to the beginning of time. This one particle moves forward and backward an infinite amount of times. Each time I can witness it in a different location but because it was part of my keyboard the first time and part of my desk the second, I see it twice. After an infinite number of passes, I can observe it's existence here in my home at 10:45 PM in a zillion locations as all the matter around me (Including me).
