musicalhair
Hey Gennadij, that unique "neo-classical guiarist" wouldn't happen to be YOU, would it? I mean talking in third person is kind of a silly way to self-promote amongst ones peers, isn't it? May I introduce you to someone you might like: http://www.musicplayer.com/ubb/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=19;t=008529 http://www.mindriderecords.com/ Is it neoclassical like that famous painting of Socrates on his death bed, or like Ingvay? It looks indeed like the roaches have developed a resisitance to the bug spray. At least your using OGG. check out some comedy I've done: http://louhasspoken.tumblr.com/ My Unitarian Jihad Name: Brother Broadsword of Enlightened Compassion. Beatnik
Just listened to the first song, played on sound forge the OGG file format. Well, yes it sounds similar to Malmsteen, but monotonous. Anyway, not bad at all "Creo en la Reflexión, no en Dogmas" Beatnik

But who cares about that? People play dated styles all the time. Definitely comes from the 'more notes = better music' school of thought. But actually, I liked it. It's wayyyy better than the shit that passes for Metal today. It would get a little boring to listen to, after a while. For the sake of variety, I'd like to suggest that you end every song with; "Shave and a Haircut". It's interesting to listen to someone like Pat Metheny, who could EASILY play notes as fast as this guitarist, and yet rarely chooses to. Yet, his playing says so much more than the stuff posted here. THAT'S virtuosity. Playing scales as fast as you can, -no matter how good you are at it- will always just be gymnastics. Metheny also plays dynamically...which is something most guitarists do not. He makes great use of the limited dynamic range you can get from an electric guitar. So, you could say that his playing is as deep as it is wide. Super 8 Hear my stuff here
