ZZ Style

It's all their own! No one even comes close to their style.

Peace :)

They've changed their style(s) a lot over the years, but the "classic" ZZ Top sound I'd call Texas Blues-Rock.

May all your thoughts be random!

Thanks guys. I was just a wonderin'

The consensus seems to be Texas Blues-Rock, although I got to agree with BiC; they've got their own style, AND it's :cool::cool:

Years ago when I was just as obnoxious as I am now we built several sets of ZZ Top songs and damn near all of it was taken from their London label recordings. Well they only had three Warner recordings out at the time.

Stuff like Just Got Paid and Waiten' for the Bus just seem to get me hoppin about. Tight, choppy, angst and attitude all over the place. :thu:

I still think guitars are like shoes, but louder.

All I've got is their "Greatest Hits" album, but it covers a LOT. Great album by a great band

I luv 'em too. I always knew I liked "Legs", "Sharp Dressed Man" and "Cheap Sunglasses"; but when I got the album I discovered beauties like "My Head's in Mississippi", my fav on the album
