Billster
Ordered tickets last night for The Chick Corea Elektric Band, playing November 21 (a week after I hit another mile marker ont he calendar)at Berklee Performance Center. Frank Gambale, John Patitucci and Dave Weckl for the first time in 12 years - with a new disc to promote too. Looking forward to Gambale live. The Berklee Center is about 1200 seats, I made sure to order orchestra, not balcony. The binoculars are coming with me. Buy my CD on CD Baby! Bill Hartzell - the website MySpace?!?! Guitarzan
i can make Halifax in less than an hour, no biggie. but promotion around here is dead lately when the "BIG" concert is Cher, you have a serious lack of entertainment. http://www.soundclick.com/bands/pagemusic.cfm?bandID=193274 rock it, i will

Billster
Really happy with the venue too. Like said, the place is only 1200 seats, and it's a dedicated music hall, with proper acoustics. Funny story. When I was at Berklee, they had a show there in 1985: Al DiMeola headline with Allan Holdsworth opening. Student discount available. Sold out in like 2 minutes. Later it was announced that Holdsworth was not coming. Everybody returned tickets for refunds. Another week later, it was announced Holdworth was back in. Sold out again in two more minutes. I got a better seat the second time. Funny story II: I saw Eric Johnson there in the mid 90's. He comes out and says his doctors told him he had strep and he needed to rest his pipes, so they would play an instrumental set tonight. Standing O before he played a note. Don't know how that makes him feel about his singing. Buy my CD on CD Baby! Bill Hartzell - the website MySpace?!?!
