LiveMusic
What's your favorite songs to play? I remember WAY back when I was in college, I literally skipped classes for three whole days. Parked my butt and my guitar in front of my turntable stereo (yep, vinyl) and learned every song on A1A or whatever the album was with "Railroad Lady" and "Tin Cup Chalice" on it. I like both of those songs. Any many more. Wondering which ones you like to play. Or are crowd faves. > > > [ Live! ] < < <
NMcGuitar
I don't know if I could pick a favorite. I will say that I can put on "Songs You Know By Heart" just about any time and be happy for an hour or so. Fendercaster
We still always get requests for Margaritaville, I'm so sick of that song I could gag! Jimmy Buffet isn't too popular around here, though. There was a local eatery named Cheeseburgers 'n Paradise, and earlier this year JB made them change their name, due to copyright issues. Our local restaurant was named long before he obtained the copyright, but the owners didn't feel it was worth it to challenge him in court, even though they probably could have won the case. So now, the restaurant is known as Beef 'n Buns 'n Paradise. My gear: http://fendercaster.freeservers.com/guit3.html If you own two Lexus cars, do you have Lexi? Dak Lander
I will cover Railroad Lady and, once in a while, Margarita Ville but I, like Fendercaster, am so tired of it I usually change some of the words. I also covered Pencil Thin Moustache until I got tired of it though I'm thinking of adding it back into the setlist for an occasional turn. Lots of good stuff for listening but most aren't what I want to cover so I don't. Our Joint "When you come slam bang up against trouble, it never looks half as bad if you face up to it." The Duke... Railroad Lady Pirate Looks At Forty Pencil Thin Moustache Tincup Chalice If you throw a 20 at me, I might do Margaritaville. Maybe. > > > [ Live! ] < < <

picker
I would probably never have a reason to play any of them, but "He Went To Paris", "God's Own Drunk", and Why Don't we Get Drunk" are my favorites. Always remember that you are unique. Just like everyone else.

Tedster
A viable alternative to "Margarita" is "Changes in Latitudes". I've covered "A Pirate Looks at 40" "Pencil Thin Moustache" and, emmm, rarely "Why Don't We Get Drunk" You might cover that Alan Jackson/Jimmy Buffett song "Five O'Clock Somewhere". That's a good one... "Cisco Kid, was a friend of mine"
timrocker
A cover band I'm with occasionally covers "Come Monday". I also like "Pencil Thin Mustache".
NMcGuitar
Less "popular" tunes that I've always liked: "Where's the Party?" "It's Midnight & I'm Not famous Yet" (both from Somewhere Over China) May all your thoughts be random! - Neil www.McFaddenArts.com www.MikesGarageRocks.com
