Shannon
Okay I'm just curious, this may sound like a stupid question but what is the instument that you here on Zep's Gallows pole, has a cool eerie sound. It has a big jack-in-the box type wind-up handle on one end, and some strings? I think it was the same thing Jimmy was playing in the lake scene at the beginning of the song remains the same. Shoes
Oh boy I was on the edge of my seat watchin' Der Stingal play du hurdy gurdy! It was so exciting I almost crapt mine hands. Elvis Costelo performed an equally undescribable act of guitar. The only thing missing was the boy without eyebrows clankin' on the banjo. I think Alison Krauss is great as are those aforementioned gentlemen but I got a much larger kick out of the soundtrack from Oh Brother, Where Art Thou.. It actually inspired me to pick up the mandolin. I still think guitars are like shoes, but louder.
