Gruupi
I remember a few years back listening to a couple of guitar players outside a club talking about thier gear. The guy in the band had racks full of stuff. I piped in and said " I just have a tube screamer on plywood". Everyone just laughed and said that will work. My mother is German & father is English Grandparents Romanian & Swiss Cheese eating vampires who can't cook or shut their mouths I'm trying to sort out plans for a pedalboard to hold my stompables and clean up AC feeds and returns with a manageable (un-trip and yankable) connection. ?Anyone got ideas or has this been posted before? I'm just interested in what you handy guys and gals have been building. Ya... I know that was fairly inclusive of me wasn't it! Billster
I used to use a 1x12 pine plank with velcro strips. I used to have a problem with the pedals rocking and sometimes popping off because of the velcro strips wiggling a bit. It now occurs to me that the whole surface of the board should have been covered with a velcroish substance. I don't use so many stomp boxes these days, but I have a vision of a plank that is routed to accept the pedals. I would take the bottom panel off the pedal, and you could just screw through the board into the top shell of the pedal where the screws used to hold on the bottom panel.
