coyote
Hi, Have any of you ever had small parts custom-machined? I'd like to have custom Strat saddles of my own design machined, at a reasonable price. Any ideas? I used to think I was Libertarian. Until I saw their platform; now I know I'm no more Libertarian than I am RepubliCrat or neoCON or Liberal or Socialist. This ain't no track meet; this is football. Werewolf by Night
Got any friends at any machine-shops? If not, make some! Seriously, you might try Dan Erlewine (a.k.a. "earlybird" here), either for the job or a recommendation on who else to go to. I've seen his exceptionally sweet one-piece intonated stop-bar bridges for retrofitting to vintage Les Pauls; Dan's got that stuff nailed! I think he's even got a mini Dremel-lathe set-up for really small, fine work. (I've done some machining myself, but have absolutely none of the machines needed for the job.)
