Billster
I was all set to post up this topic, and my computer froze, and I had to relaunch. Stupid Microsoft Anyway... We have a lot of discussions here about playing technique, effects, recording techniques... I've been thinking that without Les, they would be very different discussions. He is kind of the Thomas Edison of guitar. From steam power to elecric. Happy 89, Les! Keep it comin'! Buy my CD on CD Baby! Bill Hartzell - the website MySpace?!?! Werewolf by Night
Here's a "Hats Off" to Mr. Poulfus! Even if he had not helped to bring us his famous (and much loved) namesake, he'd still have left an indelible mark on modern music production As far as I know, he's still gigging every week at the Iridium Room in NYC... I've got to get down there sometime soon! What a guy! Chad Thorne
Apart from all his technical innovations, the man is hardcore. Years ago when he shattered his right elbow in a car accident he had the dr. set his arm bent so he could still play. And now he sticks his pick to his thumb with Band-Aids because arthritis makes it difficult for him to hold it. An inspiration to us all...
