Dylan
I want to add a little umph to my Boogie F-30 setup. The F-30 has a Vintage 30, so Id like to have the cab loaded with the same thing. Right now Im leaning towards the Carvin Legacy 2x12 cab since it seems to be the most affordable. The Mesa cabs run about $500 (ouch!) and have a different type of Celestion (90 watt I believe). Are there any other good deals out their on cabs? What about buying an empty cab and loading my own speakers into it? Thanks, Dylan
Blue Strat
Why not build your own? A couple of poplar 1 x 12" boards and a couple of speakers and you're set. Mine's 30" x 18" x 12" with 1/2" pine ply baffle and back, with two 80W Weber VST C12GB "Thames" speakers in it. BlueStrat a.k.a.
