wish me luck...new gig

I've got a tryout on Friday for a band called OCD. I may not be around here much for the next few days trying to dig some material.

It's much harder for me to play for a musician than to play for an audience...

Remember stage presence. Move around a bit, if needed... unless you'll be trying out for the Eagles Reunion Tour, sitting on barstools.

They're coming around again! How much money can these guys spend!?

Good luck!

Just remember to enjoy yourself. It'll make you play better, give you better presence, and even if you don't get the gig, you'll have had a good time.

Yeah, don't get nervous; have a good time. Don't forget that the band must meet your standards, too, so you're not the only one "auditioning", in a sense. Imagine that you're playing for an audience, that you already got a gig just filling-in on guitar for one little show. You'll do fine.

To make the best impression and to feel totally, comfortably relaxed, be sure to get rip-roarin' p!$$-drunk and I mean $h!t-faced; also eat a case of burritos for breakfast. Then, y- ;):D:thu:
