How it was going to bring down the price of CDs? How the record industry could be self-regulating? Hahahahahaha. We'll see where this investigation goes...don't hold your breath. thoughtintruder
Why does life have to be so complicated??? I mean don't you want to spend more time making music than having to deal with all the crap in the world? BAH!!!
olhhyperback.com
The record retailors are who ought to be investigated for anti-trust. There are fewer than five of them! They set the prices and get away with selling almost everything at full list. Record labels and artists share around six or seven bucks while taking all the risks and the stores make all the rest while taking no risk at all. This investigation is yet another action aimed at supporting pending legislation that would allow anybody to sell everybody's music on-line while paying a government-mandated pittance to the artist. Notice that Napster is one of the people complaining. Talk about price fixing... ------------------ Bob's workroom (615) 352-7635
