All Hail The Digitech RP50!

Wow.... I'm thoroughly impressed.

Bought one. Cost me $67 including tax. Right outta the box, I got like... 15 usable sounds I needed immediately.

12 amp models... cab mobeling... 10 effects at once. (So the box says, the manual says 8. lol!)

A tuner... a cheesy drum machine... 40 user and 40 factory presets... entirely too easy to use, and the sound is pretty damn good with the 24 bit A/D/A converters.

I plugged in my passive volume control ($30), and now I have real-time control over some of the parameters.

So... all in all, one of the best "bang for the buck" deals I've ever come across... for under $70.

I'm thoroughly astounded, and quite feckin' pleased! :)

Anyone else using this thing?

Yeah I've had one for about a year and a half.

It's got a lot of great amp models and effects. For a hobby player on a budget it's great bang for the buck. A lot cheaper than a bunch of amps and effects. I play it through a Traynor 30W solid state combo. I haven't come across a sound yet that I wanted and couldn't get.

I've got the RP 200. Damn good sounds out of that thing. Don't use it much, as it's not very good for my live application. Good for jammin' with buds. Tons of fun stuff for $150.
