Em9, 022032, is a really nice sounding one I stumbled across lately...it is easiest to play just like a open D with a and d strings fretted both with your 1 finger. It is the very recognizable first chord to what classic rock song...trivia alert!!An OU fan! Welcome. I work with a bunch of OU alumni. BillWelcome Home Studios
There is a very lush chord used by David Crosby in the song "Lee Shore", works nicely in the open position, but also works well on the seventh fret. BTW, if you really love those ringing open strings try A11 (E-A-D-G-B-E)---all open strings! [Change back on your 2 cents!]

Hendmik
I just love this one: --3-- --3-- --1-- --2-- --2-- --0-- What is that thing, an E7addb3? I guess? I love the funky dissonance of it all.
