mikey316
We have recently purchased a JMS guitar and can't find any history of the company other than it was made in germany and it looks like a Framus style headstock. Tedster
Not much help, I s'pose, but, no, I'm not familiar with 'em. Check on eBay and see if there are any similar guitars...try the usual stuff, a google search and all... Good luck, and welcome to the forum! Guitar Geezer
UPDATE Found this quote on Harmony Central This guitar was originally purchased from the Mollenhauer Musikhaus in Fulda, Germany -- according to the plate on the headstock. It is marked with the stamp '68D' and the inside label mentions 'Franconian Western Germany.' My sources tell me that guitars were produced for Poland under the 'JMS' badge, but that it would be impossible to export to the east in the spring of 1968.
