djwayne Posted December 18, 2003 Share Posted December 18, 2003 I went to 4 music stores yesterday, checking out guitars. The finish I liked the best was found on the back of a Gretsch "Jet" Model. The front was a high gloss black with a silverish/grey pick guard, the back was a high gloss clear over a really dark wood. This guitar is sweet !! It also had a Bigsby whammy bar. Now if they would just do a whole guitar in clear, instead of the black front, and put on a white pick guard.... hmmmmm... Living' in the shadow, of someone else's dream....
