doc taz
Cool. So you planning on doing any surgery on it, or keeping it stock more or less? sevenstring.org profile my flickr page
Blue Strat
More than likely it's going to get new tuners, new saddles, and a new, flashy pickguard. After that, I'll decide if I want to go for new pickups or not. I'm not finished with my blue Korean strat yet, but at $37 I couldn't pass this one up! BlueStrat a.k.a. BiC
Not too shabby for a generic strat! Do you know who made it? demarc
Hey Bluestrat! I just noticed that your recent "acquisition" looks like distant cousin to BiC's recent adoption. Any relation? BTW, does this mean a name (or color) change is in your future? BTW, does this mean a name (or color) change is in your future?Nah, I'm still sticking with bluestrat, blue's my favorite color, and my blue strat is still a better guitar, I'm sure. I'm going to be getting a Fender moto pickguard for the black strat in the near future, I'm thinking that an orange moto pickguard would look cool with black pickups and knobs. Or, I'd go with a red, green, or purple moto and keep the white knobs and pickup covers. I guess orange moto would look cool with either the white or black parts. My guitar is kinda like the poor Chinese cousin of BiC's new Japanese axe. As long as the body and neck are OK, I can make it sing. BlueStrat a.k.a. Blue Strat
I got it today, and it's even better than I thought it would be! The tuners are cheap, but it's got a three ply pickguard and good saddles and bridge. The pickups aren't all that great, or it could be the setup, high action. A few dents and dings, but it's still a hell of a deal!! BlueStrat a.k.a.
