BiC
What are the worse guitars for palm muting? I found my MIJ Strat excellent! How about the Washburn I64? Anyone own one? revolead
I would say anything with a floating trem system. I can palm-mute on my Jackson, but it requires a little getting used to. I prefer my Epi Scroll for that technique. Its got an LP setup. Shut up and play.
The Thrashole
Both of my Ibanezes have floyd rose whamy bars and I have absoloutely no problem palm muting. I actually have trouble with fixed bridges because they seem to be placed lower on the body and it isn't very natural for me. Reach out and grab a clue. revolead
I think its a matter of what you're used to, not what actually "works." Just try whatever is comfortable for you. Shut up and play.
