Sure the electricity might be a little scary, but it seems we've put tubes in just about everything else. Tube guitar, yeah. Yum, Yum! Eat em up! Or hey, how about a pickup with the tube built-in. It would be crazy! All that vibration, that thing would howl! And I just bet that somebody might just figure out how to really make music with it. In the late 80s, someone bought a bunch of surplus Dano parts from their old factory and among them was a body housing two very underwound pickups connected to a small tube preamp.
