Hi there. :)

Did you mean the Artcore series, or the John Scofield model?

See more here:

And next time you post, do tell us more about what you like to play, your own gear, etc. We like that sort of thing around here.

Welcome to the forums.

:freak:

sorry for not introducing myself:

i am a non string guy... i am a keyboard player (still interested in the gear i use?)

i was forced to post by my guitar playing friend, because he ist strickly anti-internet ;)

i think its neither of the models you mentioned in your post, and i checked the ibanez site as well and found nothing

all i know about the guitar is that it is late 80ies early 90ies, the guitarboy wants to buy one and it looks like this:

Nice guitar. I don't remember that being sold in the U.S. market. Maybe in Europe?

The trem bridge looks like it's usable. I'd just change the tuners to locking tuners, and a graphite nut for better tuning stability. The only thing I don't like there is the individual switches for the pickups.

Just an fyi, I LIKE the individual switches. To each their own.

Hmm... I did look at the pic again, and it lists "magnum lock pegs". If that's what I think it is (locking tuners), then I'd leave the guitar as it is. Yeah, even though I did say before that I don't like the individual switches, I'd be willing to leave that alone if I got one of these.

Sometimes uniqueness is a good thing. :)

Nice guitar, but where do you think you'll find one "new" if it's circa "late 80's, early 90's"?

Have you tried E-bay?

I wonder how many of these were made, and how many are still in "circulation"...

Good luck!

I'm still "guitplayer"!

Check out my music if you like...

I checked ebay many times now....

nothing

ebay.de, ebay.co.uk, ebay.com - nowhere

so we cannot even figure out how much too pay for it approx.

even in google i found just very few links like this one:

http://www.google.de/search?q=cache:afzb48PgryIJ:home.s wipnet.se/gawelmania/guitars.html+artfield+ibanez&hl=de&ie=UTF-8

I fear that if we find one the price will be far out of our league.
