I used to live in a Fabatic. White paneling, blue shag carpet, posters of Ace Frehley and Billy Idol. Man, it was cold during the Buffalo NY winters! WHOA!

BTW, it was haunted too. I never saw the ghost, but my brother did. I wanted to move to the cellar, but it wan't Fab enough.

Aaawww, c'mon, let's not squash enthusiasm, though I do know where you're coming from, Kahn.

A "fabatic" is a guitar fanatic who excitedly hit the "b"-key right next to the "n" key, at least according to Wenster's Dictiobary...

I'll give ya a listen, when I can, and get back to this thread about it; don't be upset if I'm real straight about it, though... you asked!

I'll be polite, though.

Welcome to the forum, Warp10Guitar! See ya back here right directly...

Sounds like you're doing very well and are a very good player. Very fast and technically proficient. Even if it's not my style I can appreciate the work you've done. Best of luck on your project!

As to the music. Well, uhhmmm.... Sorry, but I don't like it at all. That fast sci-fi stuff sounds like what could be used to torture someone like me. If I were forced to listed to that style for 24 hours non-stop (or even half an hour) I think I'd go bananas. But that's just me, what do I know? Don't let me discourage you by any means- I was listening to Paula Abdul and J Geils CD's on my way to work this morning....

Great playing dude, but it does come off as SPAM-ish that the link goes directly to a site selling your CD. Please stick around, and instead of posting a link directly in the text of your message, the accepted etiquete of this forum seems to be to post your links in the signature line of your posts. That way, it doesn't come across as blatant advertising (SPAM).

Caevan, you're a gebius! ;) In all honesty, I couldn't figure out what he was talking about. I thought it was a "fabulous"-type pre-fix.

Hey, Warp10Gtr!

I clicked on "Warp 10" and "Quadrant 69." That's some baddass playing. You sound killer, or as a friend of mine says, "You're the shit."

That might not sound like a compliment, but in the lingo of today's wayward youth, it is.

Keep up the good fretwork!

I would defintely change the link to the free sample page, and try posting this type of stuff on the "Post Your Music Here" thread.

Anyways, great playing, I thought it was sweet. I liked the rich textures with shred like precision, yet it still came across as emotional. You might be on to a new genre. Just don't let it go to your head. The last thing we need is another Malmsteen. Great guitarist, bad attitude.

Shut up and play.

Aye, ya gotta little bit more than "enthusiasm" goin' on, don'tcha, Warp10Gtr? Damn, you a shreddah!

I like the fact that there's still a touch of blooziness in your playing. Nice tone overall, as well.

Get some more happenning, less common drum tones going, maybe even downright weird and subversive. You know, crashing metal samples, concrete slabs, stuff like that. It would serve your music well.

Get some more adventurous harmony happening in your chords'n'riffery, too.

You could have a bright future doing soundtracks for film and television, and I mean that both as a compliment and a suggestion.

Nice, precision sounding production, too!

Check out the music thread on this forum, especially SJonse's several takes on John Coltrane's Giant Steps. I think you'll dig.
