James-Italy
Sounds great! Really nice VH vibe and some lightning finger movement. I especially enjoyed your "Blues Jam" Do you have those SD pickups in a LP? I actually listed to your clips yesterday when I saw them in your sig on another forum- LPforum I think. That's what made me curious. Kind of surprised if you don't have your own "frankenstein-ish" built guitar, or a Music Man or Wolfgang. meek20
Excellent tone, VHoholic! You've got the Eddie thing down pat. You would be perfect for a VH tribute band. How long have you been playing?

rog951
Yeah man. You've got all the lix down AND the tone!!! Sometimes I think the tone is harder to achieve than the playing chops. Even your bass player and drummer are very good at emulating the sound of VH's instruments. That snare sound in Hot for Teacher is dead nuts on. None more black. archibald3
Hey great Van Halen-do you have any clips of yourself playing stuff that doesn`t sound like Eddie?I`m curious because it sounds like you`ve immersed yourself so deeply in Van Halen that it would be hard for you to play ripping lead guitar that didn`t have that signature all over it.The phrasing in the blues thing sounds like Van Halen playing blues... doc taz
Man, VHoholic! Your stuff roxx mah nutz! I imagine that you do crank your old SLP to get the tones, right? Do you use any power attenuators when doing that, or is it really boiling hot in the room when you do that? sevenstring.org profile my flickr page

Archhey archibald3. Thanks man. I have some other stuff recorded that has a different feel than the VH stuff but i am definitely influenced mostly by his playing and even though it's not my own original style, i still have a ball with it. It's just REAL fun to play hey Tazzola. Thanks. I just blaze my Super Lead on 10 with no Attenuator. It's kinda scary..lol. The thing will take your house down it's so loud.
