Those damn important looking plastic bits, why do they keep doing that :)
Well when you beat them with a screwdriver.......

Always use the proper tool for the job. You don't beat things with a screwdriver, you beat things with a wrench. You pry or slice things with a screwdriver.

Hey, Shannon.

Maybe it's time for you to change your avatar. I think Pete might be more your speed. ;):D

Good plan!

I did get to bust up a guitar on stage once, though. It was a high school battle of the bands. A friend of mine said he'd be our roadie, our sound & lighting tech, and provide all the lights & the PA - but only if I smashed up his old guitar in the finale.

Who was I to say "no"?

It was a really cheap, no-name Les Paul copy. You know what? It is hard work trying to smash a guitar! It freaked out a lot of my friends in the audience too because, under the stage lights, it looked almost exactly like my real LP (which I had been playing for that gig).

Anyway, just thought I'd share that story.

LOL... a friend of mine did a Who tribute night once and for the last song, "My Generation," he switched from his good Rickenbackers to a Tesco he'd gotten for 50 bucks from the GC where he worked, and smashed the sucker. :D It was funny as hell but it DID hurt his hands really bad! He said it's really difficult to actually smash it unless you hold it so the body is parallel to the floor, whereas most people (including him at first) hold it the other way.

InstituteOfNoise , you wouldn't like to steal that SSL baby and ship it over to me, would you? It'd look pretty sweet in my little homestudio. ;)

Hey, I have a file on my computer that In would like to use for an avatar, and I can't figure out how to make that happen. Advice, info, derisive laughter, anyone?

Always remember that you are unique. Just like everyone else.
