The Voodoo Child
As Freakin Funkapotamus introduced himself properly I thought since i'm new i should aswell. I live in Scotland and have been playing guitar for six years. I have a PRS Santana SE Which I've had for almost 2 years now and i am thinking about fitting a higher output bridge humbucker.Does anyone have any ideas on what i should get. You'll have to speak up i'm wearing a towel.
DC
Welcome VC. I'd check the Duncan JB model. Nice output and balanced coils, sounds good. I saw a great band in Edenborough (sp?) around ten years ago called Smile. Are they still around? -David http://www.garageband.com/artist/MichaelangelosMuse

Dave da Dude
Voodo Child, WELCOME. I think you'll find this is a great forum. Lots of info tucked away the dark recesses of the minds here. You'll just have to put up with some bizarre humor here and there (and everywhere) . As far as your bridge pickup is concerned, try Seymour Duncan (you'll find I'm an avid supporter). Their site has sound samples and IF you can find one that sounds like your neck pickup, you can A/B that one and some options in the bridge position. Good luck, Dave. Gotta' geetar... got the amp. There must be SOMEthing else I... "need".
