Caevan O'Shite
An additional link in a rather "spammy" post (tastier spam than usual, but still forum-standard definition spam) proved to be a very interesting site pertaining to Boaz guitars, some very unusual and potentially revolutionary "classical" guitars. Man, one of this guy's more eccentric designs, with a new "Expression" pickup system that Taylor is trotting out (no affiliations between Boaz and Taylor, just my hypothetical postulations) built into it, would be such a cool axe! This guy, Mr. Boaz Elkayam, seems like a very dedicated and driven individual, a real maverick, and I mean all of the above as compliments. Check out this site, and tell me what you think! http://www.Boazguitars.com I know, I'm risking "son-of-spam" here, huh? -k Ask yourself- What Would Ren and Stimpy Do? ~ Caevan James-Michael Miller-O'Shite ~ _ ___ _ Leprechaun, Esquire _ ___ _

wraub
As a woodworker and guitar builder, I just have to say, this guy is some kind of deity. Maybe a minor one, major possibly, but this guy is like the second coming of all that is holy and good, when it comes to building guitars. No Power Tools!!!!!!! Peace, wraub I'm a lot more like I am now than I was when I got here.
fantasticsound
I have to say, I LOVE functional art. Beautiful design can be breathtaking, and this guy's instruments definitely qualify! My favorite shot is through the access door, of the bracing pattern. WOW! I'm not certain the use of hand tools only is necessarily a better idea, but it obviously works for him, and is a very romantic notion. The idea of a wood shop that isn't bombarded with machine noise is very enticing! It's easiest to find me on Facebook.
