baronedo
I own an American Strat and have been thinking about upgrading the Amer. Standard bridge with an after market tremolo bridge made by Hipshot Projects (hipshotproducts.com) called the model 42100 Tremolo Bridge. Hipshot is a good company with good products and I own several tremsetters from them which work well. The concept of their tremolo bridge sounds innovative wherein you simple replace the bridge posts of the American Std. with new bridge posts which then mate against their new bridge like a ball and socket or ball bearing type set up. This is suppose to improve the stability and smoothness of the new bridge when compared to the friction ridden knife edge type setup of a standard bridge. Anyone have any experience with this?
