gcerq
Hello, I love Jazz guitar and having just picked up my guitar again (after some years of not regularly playing) I'm trying to get my chops up to a decent level again :-) Do you know any site where I can find lessons, tutorials, or licks of Jazz guitar rhythms (riffs?)? As an example here's one I find pretty cool, very very simple but nice, on the Gibson site: http://www.gibson.com/products/gibson/sounds/ES3351.mp3 Cheers

Ziggy
Gcerq, If you're in to the three note Freddie Green style of comping (which I am) here is a pretty cool sight; http://www.freddiegreen.org/style/techniqu.html Good luck and let me know if you run across any interesting jazz web sites. Sat with Basie band for nearly 50 years, and grooved like nobody else. It wouldn't be a bad idea to check out John Pizzarelli's self accommpany style, or Russell Malone when he played with Diana Krall.
